Join us for the 25th running of the iconic Battle of the Streets!

This year the renowned Battle of the Streets celebrates its 25th anniversary on Sunday 21st February 2016 with riders from around the country and overseas once again converging on this otherwise quiet town to compete around the famous ‘Hacksaw’ street circuit, closing State Highway 2 for the day. This year we’re thrilled to have NZ’s no.1 in his class, Sloan Frost, competing.

Bring the family – even if you have only a slight interest in motorsport this is a truly energy and adrenalin-filled day – and enjoy racing, food, entertainment, static displays featuring in 2016 the Britten Motorcycle display. Motorcycle clubs, groups, organised rallies welcome. And there’s plenty of free parking and camping available for spectators.

Practice sessions start around 8.15am and racing starts approximately 11am.
