"William's Lessons of Love" consists of a series of famous scenes by William Shakespeare that address issues in today's society surrounding the topic of relationships. The emotionally driven scenes are all set in an office space among a group of work colleagues. By bringing in the old, admired text and setting it in a context which is familiar to the audience, the characters become approachable and more relatable. A office environment has many dynamics and becomes a large part of people's social network. The short excerpts, accompanied by great food and live music creates a relaxed and light environment for a summer evening outing.
Six excerpts have been carefully selected which illustrate the variation of challenges faced in relationships in today's society.
