Hamilton’s funniest comedy night is back again, with a sizzling winter show. Did you know that laughter raises the heart rate (1), relieves stress (2), and makes your boss chill out about doing personal photocopying at work (3)? It’s the perfect antidote to Winter!

The July show features a fantastic line up of top New Zealand comedians. Headliner Simon McKinney is the undisputed kiwi king of impressions, and has featured on numerous editions of the NZ International Comedy Festival Gala and TV3’s AotearoHA. You may know Brendon Green, everyone’s favourite nihilist, from TV1’s Best Bits or TV3’s The Friday Story and AotearoHA Billy T’s. Filipino powerhouse David Correos will be arriving fresh from his 2016 Billy T Award victory and an appearance on TV3’s AotearoHA Rising Stars. Angella Dravid is the queen of awkward and features in TV3’s Funny Girls. MC Tim Müller is dry and quirky, and his parents were on Country Calendar once. The old couple with the walnut orchard.

The wonderful Meteor Theatre was damn near bursting at the seams for April’s show, so don’t miss out on this red hot night of comedy. Red hot as in good. It’s a family friendly show.

Recommended for everyone aged 12 and up.

      (1) Bennett and Lengacher, Evid Based Complement Altenat Med, 2008 Mar, 5(1), 37-40

      (2) Toda et al, Biomed Res, 2007 Apr, 28(2), 115-8

      (3) We made this one up. Please let us know if you find something that does help with that though. We’re going to need to run off a lot of posters.
