Dreamgirls is the story of three singers, the Dreamettes - Deena, Lorrell, and Effie. After being discovered by manager Curtis Taylor Jnr. they sharpen their act until they become the most famous divas of all time, "The Dreams".  However, the behind-the-scenes reality of the entertainment industry takes its toll, leaving them all wondering whether it is worth the price of fame.
