The Harbourview Sculpture Trail, a unique exhibition and sale of contemporary art, returns for a third season as one of Auckland’s most anticipated art events. Over forty exciting New Zealand and international artists have created pieces specifically for this beautiful wetland site at Harbourview Peoples Park, Te Atatu Rd (opposite Gloria Ave), Te Atatu Peninsula. With a backdrop of spectacular city and harbour views, the Trail is located just 15 minutes drive from central Auckland.
The 3 week exhibition includes onsite kids activities, including the 'Creation Station' in partnership with Te Uru Waitakere Contemporary Gallery, an onsite Pop-up Art Shop and a People’s Choice Award for the most popular sculpture, as voted by you!
The exhibition is open later on weekends (last admission 7:30pm), with gourmet food trucks and roaming entertainment from 5pm every Friday & Saturday night. Bring your friends and family and make the most of the summer twilight in stunning surrounds.
Public curator tours run every Saturday and Monday at 10am and 1pm over the exhibition period. There is no extra charge or booking required to join a public curator tour.
Private curator tours can be booked by arrangement. Please contact curator@harbourviewsculpture.com for pricing and times.
