The Havelock Mussel & Seafood Festival is "Servin' up a whole ocean of fun!" for 2016

This iconic event, now in its 12th  year, is bringing you more seafood, more stalls and more entertainment than ever before.

The iconic Marlborough Mussel remains the hero of this event, but has been joined by a line-up of local seafood ready to be showcased by celebrity chefs and paired with simply stunning local wine and beer.

This years headline act needs little introduction, Anika Moa burst onto the New Zealand music scene with her double-platinum album ‘Thinking Room” and is currently on her “Queen at the Table Tour”.  Add to the music mix a supporting package of high quality local and national bands, and you’re sure to enjoy a day of dancing at a festival that’s alive and kicking from the get go to the end of the day!

It wouldn’t be the Havelock Mussel Festival without an Internationally recognised Guinness Book of Records “Mussel Opening” competition; you’ll get a chance to show the participants your support! Or compete in a few fun Mussel themed competitions yourself!

You won’t go hungry at the Havelock Mussel Festival, there are newly introduced food stalls, and you’ll be able to partake of local beer and wine matches with whatever morsels tickles your taste buds.

With FREE* entry for kids under 12 (with an accompanying adult), and a whole host of kid’s entertainment, the Havelock Mussel Festival is not just a fun family day, but great value too.

Be part of this brilliant event – Only in Marlborough…..
