Brown; it’s complicated gives great insight as to what it’s like for Pacific People trying to live in a, dare I say, white society; the conflicts, the frustrations, the misunderstandings, the good things, the great stuff, but mainly the bad stuff – told in a typically island way – cause we’re Islander’s, how else can we tell it?

Singing, maybe dancing, of course acting, and definitely comedy (you’re not islander if you can’t laugh at yourself or your situations), and maybe tragedy. Let’s just clarify the differences between us and maybe things can be “sweet as.”
