      WHAT IS THE NWF?
The National Writers Forum is for people who write books: fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, poetry and digital media.

It is a two day intensive where writers will talk, learn and share information about the craft of writing and the business of getting published – traditional and indie, print and digital.

The forum will report on the current New Zealand writing and publishing environment and explore the prospects for writers in the new democracy of the digital world.

      WHAT TO EXPECT.
Speakers will deliver workshops, master classes, case studies, keynotes and panel discussions covering subjects that matter to all writers: the craft of writing, getting your manuscript ready for publication, publishing in both print and digital format, promoting books, finding readers, building a career. There is also an informative and entertaining Great Debate.

Ticket holders can enter a competition to win a one on one session with participating publishers and also enter a draw to have your first paragraph edited by experts in the Live Live Editing session.

Ticket price includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea and drinks and canapes on the Saturday Drinks.

See the full programme and read about the local and international speakers at www.nationalwritersforum.org.nz
