Presented by Westpac and in association with Newstalk ZB and the New Zealand Herald - a night of hilarity at Auckland’s premiere event venue, SKYCITY, when we tear shreds off the Mad Butcher and ultimately celebrate his life.

An all-star line-up of roasters are on the panel to bring Sir Peter down to earth in a no holds barred attack on his character… Ultimately though it will be the Butcher that gets final right of reply, putting all of his contemporaries in their place, where they belong!

Our panel of roasters includes Sir Graham Henry, Leighton Smith, Sir John Kirwan, Miles Davis, David Hartnell (MNZM), Jim Doyle, Phil Gifford and Murray Deaker.

As one of New Zealand’s most loved characters and most generous personalities, Sir Peter Leitch has helped pull this wonderful event together in support of 2 charities that he is very passionate about – the Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand, and Auckland’s Westpac Rescue Helicopter. All proceeds from the event will be split directly between these 2 worthy causes.

On the night you can expect hours of laughter and tall tales, and a real celebration of one of the great New Zealanders. We will also be holding a live charity auction with a number of “money can’t buy” items and experiences.
