This event has probably been and gone!
Marking the start of the three-day festival, Dave Dobbyn and his all-star band headline the GOOD FRIDAY GROOVE at the picturesque Rangihoua Estate in Rocky bay. Joining them are Little Bushman (featuring Warren Maxwell from Trinity Roots, Fat Freddy’s Drop), Melbourne 8-piece “Cinematic Soul” group the Cactus Channel and Kiwi icons Hopetoun Brown, who open the show and will join Dobbyn later on stage for some rousing renditions of some of Dave’s all-time classic NZ hits.
Children 12 years and under are free - no ticket required.

Please note: Rangihoua Estate venue is strictly no BYO alcohol-a licensed bar with Waiheke Wines will be available, along with Food Trucks offering a good range of food and snacks. Please no Dogs. And it is recommended to bring cash as some of vendors will not have Eftpos facilities and WiFi signal can be unreliable.
Weather update: With the unpredictability of the current weather pattern we recommend bringing a waterproof jacket and if you can, a picnic blanket to sit on. We have lots of cover if showers arrive, but if everyone dresses for Autumn, there should be no concerns
