China vs New Zealand vs China
Kickboxing & MMA

Last year, at Fight of the Century 4 – China VS New Zealand, New Zealand came away with a phenomenal win with majority of the fights. The event was witnessed by thousands as New Zealand fought China’s best in what turned out to be a night of adrenaline pumping non-stop Muay Thai action which had people standing in their seats as they were not disappointed as combatants stood in the ring and went toe to toe not backing down.

This year China is back for more, this time with 4 MMA fights and 8 Muay Thai fights lined up.  For the first time ever, Phillip Lam has introduced MMA fights into this event. Join us in the witnessing some of the nation’s best athletes give it their all in the ring.

Today Muay Thai (Kick boxing) is picked up by young and old, male and female, as a sport, fitness, health and discipline. City Lee Gar is the original and oldest Kick boxing gym in New Zealand responsible for the introduction of the sport into the country as well as crafting some fine athletes into strong skilful fighters. City Lee Gar now has classes for all ages, located at 198 Dominion Road in Auckland. Visit for more info.
