With Live Music and Entertainment, delicious food, fine local beer and wine and Seafood.

Taking centre stage, the 2017 Havelock Mussel & Seafood Festival on Saturday 18th March is set to be a cracker day out for the whole family at the Havelock Domain.

The festival has always been a great family day out and this time round the family theme extends to sisters Karena and Kasey Bird, winners of MasterChef 2014 and now stars of their own television show.

For Mum and Dad there’s plenty going on: cooking demonstrations, market stalls, industry displays, music and the festival’s first ever ‘beer university’.

For the kids there’s a heap of activities and entertainment including Adam Allsorts the clown, Dragon Uke duo, laser tag, climbing wall and the NIWA kids zone with face painting, mussel shell decorating and loads more.

On the day there’s the chance to see or be part of two World record attempts, first the world mussel opening record and second an attempt to stage the largest Kiwi Can exercise session ever.

The Havelock Mussel & Seafood Festival is a wonderful way to spend a summer’s day, with as much or as little activity as you choose, put the 2017 festival on your calendar today.
