PRODIGAL SON THE MUSICAL
An original Hip Hop musical, to be presented in The Spreading Tree, a creative space in Mt Eden.
The storyline is an adaptation of the well-known parable in the Bible, The Prodigal Son. It focuses on themes of second chances, the power of unconditional love and forgiveness.
This piece is an attempt to explore storytelling through rap and spoken words, to be presented in cabaret style featuring live band, with music inspired by Broadway’s hit musical, Hamilton.
