This event has probably been and gone!
RainbowYOUTH and ASB are proud to present the ‘It’s A Bit Posh’ Charity Auction in support of rural LGBTIQ kiwis - you might wanna brush your hair for this!
Join the ASB, Mediaworks and RainbowYOUTH teams for a not too posh evening of laughter, merriment and money raising.
We’ve scored an exciting line up of local comedic talent - like award winning Justine Smith (Comedy Guild Award for Best Comedian and Best M.C, Billy T Comedy Award winner), Cori Gonzalez-Macuer (What We Do In The Shadows, 7 Days, and Billy T Comedy Award winner) and Eli Matthewson (Funny Girls, Jono & Ben, 7 Days, and Billy T Comedy Award Nominee) to keep the laughs going throughout the evening. With the STRUT dance troop, the excellent Ali Mau (RadioLive) as MC and more to be announced, this is a night you won’t want to miss.
While you’re regretting wearing those uncomfortable shoes, you’ll have the chance to bid on some choice items offered up for auction by some great kiwi companies. Stay tuned as we announce major items in the coming weeks.
It’s still tough for kiwi kids who grow up to identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or part of the wider rainbow community. This event is a chance for you to help RainbowYOUTH raise money to put resources and people on the ground in rural areas, building their capacity as a community to support and nurture their LGBTIQ kids.
