Following on from the success of Papakura Theatre Company’s production of Blackadder Goes Forth in 2013, PTC is delighted to have the titular character returning to our boards in our 2017 production of Blackadder II.

Blackadder II, which originally aired in 1986, is the story of Lord Edmund Blackadder, a member of the aristocracy in Elizabethan London who wishes to gain the affections of ‘Queeny’. Blackadder’s scheming and cynical outlook always seem to land him in less-than-ideal situations with Baldrick (his less than bright man-servant) and Lord Percy (a ‘friend’ which Blackadder begrudgingly keeps around.
