In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the founding of Limbs Dance Company, Tempo Dance Festival 2017 and Mary Jane O'Reilly invite you to come together for a night of food, drinks and reminiscing on all things Limbs. We're calling on all former company dancers, crew, designers, supporters, fans, friends and whanau to join us at the Herne Bay Petanque Club for a fully catered dinner in honour of the incredible and enduring legacy of Limbs Dance Company.
Limbs is New Zealand's ground-breaking modern dance company founded in 1977 by Chris Jannides. Their compelling choreographic style and tenacity for refusing to be ignored put both them and contemporary dance on the map across New Zealand. Limbs launched the successful careers of numerous New Zealand dancers, choreographers and performers whose influence has helped shaped the current contemporary dance landscape in Aotearoa.
The Limbs reunion dinner is part of three days of events to commemorate Limbs Dance Company, proudly supported by Tempo Dance Festival 2017 at Q Theatre, 4 - 15 October.
Tickets available until 5:00 PM Monday 25 September.
