Raas or Dandiya Raas is the traditional folk-dance form of Gujarat & Rajasthan India, and is associated with scenes of Holi, and lila of Krishna and Radha at Vrindavan. Along with Garba, it is the featured dance of Navratri evenings in Western India. This festival is observed twice a year, once in the beginning of summer and again at the onset of winter.

People of all ages along with kids gather and perform this dance - an event that is becoming increasingly popular in countries with large Gujarati-speaking communities around the world, such as Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.

DILDAR DANDIA by Kritidan Gadhvi is purely a dance festival in which people dance with short sticks in their hands called dandia sticks.
