        Urinetown!
What is Urinetown? Who lives there? What does it all mean? And why would we decide to produce a show with such an awful title?

Dilworth and Diocesan School Productions are proud to present a modern production of an award-winning show that finished its Broadway run in 2004.

Darkly humorous and openly irreverent towards the genre of musical theatre, Urinetown tells the story of a town caught in the throes of a desperate water shortage, where it will quite literally cost you for the privilege to pee. Inspired by the beautiful Hope, local toilet mop-boy and amenity assistant Bobby Strong, leads the Poor into rebellion against the evil corporation that controls all public bathrooms and their dastardly chief executive, Caldwell B Cladwell.

Will Bobby succeed in his cry for freedom? Will Cladwell realise the error of his ways and turn away from a life of greed and corruption? And will the audience finally realise the true, secret, and terrible message behind Urinetown’s hilariously up-beat and comic facade?
