ANNIE 
This classic musical, set in the 1930’s, is wonderful family entertainment. The inspiring message that Annie offers is hope and optimism. It is based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray. Little Orphan Annie charms everyone’s heart. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of the New York City Orphanage, that is run by the tyrannical Miss Hannigan. She escapes, has many adventures and even befriends Sandy a very lovable mutt. 
 
Selwyn Community Arts Theatre is supported by Selwyn Community Education and involves members from 4 to 84. All their productions are staged in the very comfortable Selwyn Theatre. It has free parking and is close to the city 
 
This theatre group is renowned for their teamwork, costumes and the quality they achieve in performance.  Annie is directed by June Renwick, with Musical Director Jack Barnard, and choreographer Kim Santarelli.
