        DISRUPTIVE TEXT is a workshop run by artists Vanessa Crofskey and Jess Holly Bates.

        This workshop speaks to text-as-text, text-as-body and text-as-impulse, making space for play with found poetry, mark-making, collaboration and embodied stories.

        We are socially overwhelmed by text: there are always too many books to read, articles to share and podcasts to listen to. This should not limit our potential to be autonomous and relational makers. Disrupt is both possible and necessary under our current conditions, generating new flows inside existing frameworks.

        No previous experience required. You are enough, and you are invited.
