The words of award-winning British playwright, Mark Ravenhill, take us to the darker depths of ambition, focussing on a group of contemporary artists in a competitive, dissonant and corrosive arts world. When one rises above the rest what were harmonious hues become hostile. Friendships Stretch. Toxic ecstasies entwine. Envy laced with love does not a party make.
Directed by Amber Liberté this NZ ensemble of six performers embrace the abstract, merging theatre, dance, and art. Burrowed Time with Illogical Limbs are proud to break open Basement Theatre’s Winter Season with a defiantly disruptive production.
Burrowed Time is proud to offer 'y Reserve' tickets to students of performing arts institutions. These are made possible with this 'Pay It Forward' accessibility initiative powered by YOU. We think that seeing theatre, and other artists' work, is a vital part of finding who you are as an artist so for every $25 donated we give a ticket to a performing arts student for FREE. If you are a current performing arts student you can sign up for tickets HERE.
IMPORTANT
Please arrive 15 minutes before show start time. Latecomers admitted into the theatre at Basement's discretion – no refunds will be given.
