Back again for 2018, some Fonterra farmers are opening their gates so New Zealanders have the opportunity to go on farm, learn about how Fonterra farmers care for our environment and what happens on a dairy farm.
This year, Michael and Cheryl would like to invite you to visit Teapot Valley Farm in Nelson!
Teapot Valley Farm is a beautiful property, featuring Totara trees and native bush. The Teapot Valley Stream runs through the property and is riparian planted and fenced off to make sure it stays unspoiled. Michael and Cheryl are sharemilkers on this stunning property, milking here for the past three and a half years with their two (soon to be three!) children, Clayton (4) and Isabella (3), and their dog Pip. They can’t wait to share their passion and paradise with their visitors, and have planned an exciting day including a milking demonstration, calves being fed, a short work through native bush and hopefully a trailer ride to the top of the farm, looking out towards Nelson and the sea.
Thinking of checking out the beautiful Teapot Valley farm this Open Gates day, Book now to secure your FREE ticket for a day on the farm!
