This event has probably been and gone!
Get your ticket to visit eight stunning homes all dressed for Christmas!
Heavenly Homes is a major fundraiser for St Pius X School and is your chance to visit a selection of New Plymouth homes specially decorated for the holiday season.
2018 is the third Heavenly Homes event and we are delighted that the wonderful homeowners of eight properties - from Bell Block to Omata - are opening their doors for us:
126 Paraite Road, Bell Block
Unique and charming – that’s the home, family and Christmas you’ll find at Stonehaven. The Red Couch upholstery founder cleverly weaves together elements and styles to create a cohesive home that celebrates difference and exudes a modern, mid-century vibe.
25 McLean Street, Strandon
Every year Meryl transforms her charming 1930s stucco bungalow into a Christmas wonderland that even Mr and Mrs Claus would be envious of. Inside you’ll find an entire Christmas village – joyfully created by this self-confessed Christmas fanatic.
7 Ridge Lane, Central
Enjoy a traditional family Christmas in one of New Plymouth’s most admired heritage homes. Catherine and Kevin have been preparing their festivities for 35 years – collecting ornaments and treasured homemade decorations to create a magical celebration.
248 Junction Road, Mangorei
Garden lovers may be familiar with Pat and Paul’s impressive 6,000m2 formal garden, but this is a rare chance to venture inside their classical, contemporary, family home to see – and hear – an Oak Valley Christmas.
27 Fernbrook Drive, Fernbrook
Whether you’re a parent, grandparent for just young at heart, Lana and her family invite you to enjoy a kid’s Christmas at their family home in Fernbrook. Discover how they make Christmas magical for their young family!
28 Aderman Drive, Fernbrook
Flowers, friends and festivities go hand-in-hand at Shirley’s four-year-old Fernbrook home. With the help of her New Plymouth Floral Art Society pals, Shirley is decking her halls, walls and floors with a gorgeous assortment of seasonal blooms and floral Christmas creations – including a festive floral dessert buffet.
2 Belt Road, Kawaroa
Slip on your jandals, set up the swing ball, pull out the pav recipe and enjoy an old fashioned Kiwi Christmas inside one of our most iconic seaside holiday parks.
14 Washer Road, Tapuae Estate
Maree and Brent’s modern cliff top home overlooking the Tasman Ocean hosts a stylish, yet unfussy, Kiwi Christmas designed to lure home their internationally-based family and much beloved grandies.
To make your tour even more enjoyable there will be food available along the way (including coffee, a bake sale, high tea and food trucks) as well as a craft market and on-site entertainment.
Mobile EFTPOS will be available at many locations but we recommend bringing cash with you (again, proceeds from these stalls will go to St Pius X School).
The money raised from Heavenly Homes goes directly towards giving students a richer educational experience and funding major projects like a multipurpose sports facility at the school.
