Caitlin Smith & Band - Featuring Bruce Lynch who worked through the 70's with CAT Stevens will be performing at The Lounge on October 12th 2018.

Caitlin Smith is one of New Zealand's premier vocalists. She operates at another level, whether it be as a singer performer, song-writer, poet or vocal coach. A highly expressive & emotive performer, Caitlin's ability to improvise, while also having the dedication & discipline to study the greater depths of the music form, rightly hold her name & music as 'transcendent'.

Bruce Lynch, who worked extensively with CAT Stevens (1970's Majikat Earth Tour) will be on the bass. Not only did Bruce work extensively with Cat Stevens but is a master of the bass (Electric/Acoustic/Fretless). He also maintained a career as a composer, producer & arranger.

Nick Jones, a virtuoso violinist is performing on the violin. Nick has the unique ability to perform genres across the board; from Jazz to Popular music.

Mike Beck the chameleon drummer has the distinct ability to adapt to an array of musical contexts. Mike's career has seen him shift gears through multiple genres, working with a diverse range of performers & musicians both in NZ & abroad.
