New York saxophonist Joey Johnson and bassist Jakob Dreyer reunited with New Zealand based drummer Mark Lockett to launch their new album ‘Any Last Requests’. This stunning release is the result of a residency the trio had for several years at a popular NYC cafe where they performed 5 nights a week. While paying respect to the jazz tradition, the trio sound new, modern and fresh, always searching for new ideas, pushing and expanding the musical landscape.
