Stranger Things is a collaborative performance series that pairs up some of Auckland’s most engaging creatives and interesting folk in fast turn around, one-off theatrical collaborations. From artists to writers to mathematicians, Stranger Things is a celebration of collision; a mad little romp into the realms of "what if"...
It works like this: 12 people are selected and paired with a stranger - they are given two weeks to create a short (5-10 minute) performative work to be shown for one night only.
There were four instalments of Stranger Things between 2009 and 2011, and now Stranger Things 5 makes a triumphant return as part of 10 Years of Basement!
