Sunday morning opens by celebrating our birds of prey with Debbie Stewart and Rachel Stewart. Debut writers Michael Steven, Dominic Hoey and Annaleese Jochems discuss their ‘first time’ and Paula Morris, Susanna Andrew and Simon Wilson scrutinise the rise of the essay. Vincent Heeringa, Helen Heath and Dr Jo Cribb wrestle robots before we break for a delicious lunch by culinary specialist Claire Inwood followed by Peter Wells in conversation with Stephanie Johnson. In Tōku Reo, Tōku Ohooho - My Language, My Awakening Scotty and Stacey Morrison korero with Guyon Espiner. Gavin Bishop discusses his work with Bridget Mahy before Brad Haami and Dr Ella Henry wrap up another fabulous Going West Books and Writers Weekend.
