“Harmony A Plenty”, the local Tauranga Barbershop Chorus has its Silver Jubilee this year and is to  host National Barbershop 2018 Convention which as the motto --  “Waiata Ki A Mauao” – “Sing to the Mount”.  The Concert is the culmination of intense convention competitions over two days.

 So, on Saturday 22nd September after the chorus and quartet competitions, the “Champion of Champions Concert” takes place in the magnificent acoustically built 840 seat auditorium at the  “Holy Trinity Church” - corner Devonport Road and 3rd Avenue, Tauranga.  

The concert begins at 7.30 pm. This will showcase all the winners of all the sections in the first half of the concert . The second half of the concert will feature the 2014 World Champions quartet, Musical Island Boys. We are all in for a real treat to have these guys with us.  

The Young Singers In Harmony (YSIH) winners are likely to be included in the Concert so maybe you have sons or daughters to cheer along as well.
