Glenn Colquhoun is a poet and doctor. He grew up in South Auckland and studied theology and English, then medicine. In 1994 he took a year off and lived in Te Tii, beginning a lifelong relationship with the community and its people. His first collection of poetry, The Art of Walking Upright, was written about the people of Te Tii, and when Glenn graduated in 1996 he returned to work as a doctor in the Bay of Islands. Glenn comes back to Northland for an intimate hour of poetry and reflection.
