Showcase at the Tabard
The “Showcase at the Tabard” will feature a mix of musical theatre solo and ensemble music.
The New Zealand Singing School is an 11-day intensive and life-changing vocal experience for those looking to accelerate their skills and confidence in singing and performance. Designed for students in both classical music and musical theatre, the New Zealand Singing School has the only programme that uses “crossover” techniques to create versatile performers – New Zealand’s voices of the future.
The ultimate test for the Singing School students is in performance. Over the 11 days of the school, there are five opportunities for the public to watch these students perform classical, musical theatre and oratorio solos and ensembles.
Showcase at the Tabard includes performances by our 2019 Artist in Residence Geoff Sewell, founder of Amici Forever. Come along and support the students as they showcase their hard work and talent. Details of all concerts are at: www.singingschool.org.nz/watch/2019-public-concerts.
