Join Hawke’s Bay Historian Michael Fowler for a walking tour around the Hastings CBD to see striking examples of Art Deco in that town, as well as the story of how the 1931 Hawke’s Bay Earthquake affected the CBD.
Michael’s tour is the result of over 15 years research and has new material added every year.
The tour takes one hour 15 minutes at an easy pace.
Please meet inside the Hastings i-SITE ten minutes before departure time. There is a large car park nearby on Eastbourne Street West with two hour parking.
