If the weather is poor, a decision will be made Friday night/Saturday morning as to whether the picnic will go ahead (or not). If the weather is too rotten to go ahead, the event will be postponed to the following day, Sunday 24th February. If this happens, attendees will be notified by email.
The Opera Garden Picnic 2019
The Auckland Opera Studio is hosting their annual Opera Picnic Concert on the 23rd of February 2019. Featuring “The Shades” and two guest artists, this year’s picnic will be held at the exquisite Barclay’s garden in Matakana.
As a result of advice from the Te Kanawa Trust and Malvina Major Foundation these boys will separately soon embark on audition tours of the famous graduate colleges in England and America. This may be the last chance to hear them perform together.
So, pack your vino, cheese and blankets and join us for a convivial evening of singing in the setting sun.
Note: Auckland Opera Studio encourages attendees to bring their own blankets, picnics and chairs
