Streetstock 290s – Super Saloons, Classic Stockcars, Six Shooters

The 290's StreetStock Championship has always attracted the meanest and toughest drivers from as far away as the bottom of the North Island. These drivers are insane as they smash their Holdens, Valiants, Falcons, Mercedes and Jaguars into each other as they fight to win the trophy and bragging rights!

Plus you will thrill to the door handle to door handle racing of the spectacular SuperSaloons - Mustangs, Corvettes, Camaros, Commodores and Falcon V8's  Featuring  USA Super Star Bobby Pierce from a little town called Oakwood in Illinois, not far from the legendary Indianapolis Raceway. Nicknamed the "Smooth Operator," he is known for his high line driving only inches from the concrete safety wall.  He will be racing against NZ's fastest including Napier's Grant and Steve Flynn in their Burger King SuperSaloons.

The Classic Stockcars will bring back many memories when they head out on to the race track. 

When you are racing inches apart, things can go wrong!! The Commodore V6 powered Six Shooter non winged Sprintcars will be racing wheel to wheel as they try to be first to the chequered flag, featuring the fastest drivers from around the country.
