Legally Blonde The Musical, the award-winning, smash hit Broadway musical, is coming to Timaru!

Legally Blonde The Musical tells the journey of famously perky Elle Woods, a fashion savvy, UCLA sorority girl who finds her life turned upside down when she is dumped by her boyfriend Warner. 

To prove she is more than just some blonde sorority girl, she follows Warner to Harvard Law, where she struggles to fit in and do well.  Ultimately, she defies expectations and manages to stay true to her personality and demonstrate she has the intellect as well as the charm to survive and thrive as a new breed of lawyer. 

This is a feel-good, funny and inspirational show with outstanding acting and singing. It’s witty, it’s edgy, it’s hilarious.  The court room scene will have you laughing in the aisles.  

The intimate setting of The Playhouse Timaru will come alive with vibrant costumes and spectacular song and dance.
