Sustainability & The State of Fashion

The 2013 Rana Plaza collapse in Bangladesh sparked outrage around the world, but it also sparked immense change. The transparency of the fashion industry has been called into question ever since, and our very own New Zealand designers have themselves been at the mercy of a newly informed and demanding consumer. Melinda Tually is the Australia & New Zealand Co-ordinator for Fashion Revolution, a movement that aims to help the industry be better in any way possible.  Melinda joins us on March 27th along with local fashion leaders in this sustainability and ethics space to discuss the state of fashion and how we can all be catalysts for change.

      Panellists include:
      Melinda Tually (Fashion Revolution)
      Gosia Piatak, (Kowtow)
      Maggie Hewitt, (Maggie Marilyn)
