So your kids play Fortnite and you've been rolling your eyes all year at how they never do anything else.

Why is that? It's because it is really fun, and this is how children are socialising with their friends now.

How are you interacting with your children? Probably there's a lot of frustration that they're not stopping gaming when it's dinner time/shower time/bed time/school time/any other time.

This session discusses why gaming is so positive for children's social development, and also some parenting tips to help manage your operational home life, and build on their time management skills.

In addition, we teach some beginner Fortnite skills on our wall of Xboxes so that you can actually get involved and at least have some basic knowledge to converse with your children :) You don't have to become a full time Fortnite gamer, but as a parent it can foster a closer bond with your child if they see you taking even a small interest in their activities.

This presentation is targeted at parents/caregivers, not children.
