Bring your crazy product ideas, and learn to tell if they are just crazy enough to work!
If you are a startup, an existing business evaluating new product strategies, or an investor supporting tech innovators, or just have a ton of ideas and don't know which one to focus on, come along to get some hands-on practice on defining, or simply confirming, your product market fit.
Does your organisation have trouble defining, analysing, and prioritizing what the customer REALLY wants? Are you working with an agile team concerned with delivering more stories rather releasing a product that understand and solves the customer’s problem? Do you have concerns that your customers aren’t using your products as intended? Do you have an innovative idea, and are trying to understand how to turn it into a product?
In this 3 hour intensive workshop, we will use Story Mapping and the Lean Product Process to learn how to iterate your way to product-market fit. The workshop starts with how to understand, define, and prioritize customer needs. You will learn how to formulate your value proposition to ensure your product is differentiated from the competition. You’ll also learn how to define and build a story map to really understand the user’s journey and context, and an MVP prototype to test your value proposition with customers. The workshop will also explain how to translate what you hear from customers into actionable learning so you can rapidly iterate and improve your product. Workshop concepts will be illustrated via real world examples and class exercises.
