Rotorua is a city of storytellers and it is through stories that we will retain humanity in an increasingly digitised world. 

Rangatahi will hear from inspiring speakers, take part in interactive workshops and explore an exciting Tech Expo.

There is a growing ecosystem of local tech creatives in film, tv, digital, media and animation which are all based around storytelling. We want to highlight Rotorua’s rich history in stories and storytelling and show that this is a competitive advantage for the city.

We also want to show intermediate and high school students that tech is simply a tool that can be harnessed to solve problems, connect with people and achieve their goals.
