Waiheke born and raised contemporary dancer/ choreographer Kit Reilly (graduate of The New Zealand School of Dance) is currently developing a brand new contemporary dance work which he is choreographing, performing in and composing the sound score for.

This project is being developed at Wellesley Studios as part of a residency he has received.

Comprising of a production team of New Zealand and international artists, the performance is set in a sterile dystopia where technology has surpassed human intelligence and become our governing figure. Society has fallen victim to this artificial entity but resistance emerges in the search for humanity.

Kit is proud to announce that he is presenting a preview showing of the work at Artworks Theatre on the 31st of May following the culmination of his residency. This is a unique opportunity for the community to see a professional contemporary dance performance and to support a local artist in showcasing his work.

This project is being developed at Wellesley Studios as part of a residency he has received.
