SPCA & MPI present: Assessing mental suffering using the 5 domains model in cases of animal cruelty.
Join us for a co-hosted workshop with presenters:
- Dr Rebecca Ledger (from Canada),
- Professor David Mellor (Massey University) and
- Ben Vanderkolk (BVA The Practice)
The workshop aims are to understand animal welfare in terms of the experience animals can have, both positive and negative, in dealing with prosecutions.
The key focus is when negative experiences occur at a level which reaches the threshold for prosecution.
