The 2019 Avian Botulism Symposium will bring together diverse stakeholders to reduce the negative impacts of avian botulism on birds.
We aim to strengthen relationships between water and bird professionals, drive innovation in bird and water management, and teach hands-on skills for improved bird care, facility management, and public communication.
Our program will have three sessions including the following topics:
- Avian botulism overview, its natural history, population and welfare impacts
- Hands-on activities on bird care, handling, and transport
- Water Management
