At Te Paepae o Tangaroa a range of internationally respected kaitiaki, scientists, voyagers, and environmental leaders from Te Tairāwhiti, around Aotearoa and the wider Pacific, will challenge us to see the ocean in a different light: as a living being that we all have responsibility to.
We'll learn about relationships with our ocean in the past, present and future; and what both indigenous and Western science can teach us about the care of our oceans, in Tairāwhiti and around Te Moananui a Kiwa.
