AMDRAM presents - The Sound of Music:
This iconic stage show first opened on Broadway in 1959. The love story between Maria Rainer a Postulant at Nonnberg Abbey and Captain Von Trapp a widow of 5 years and his 7 children. Maria is sent from the Abbey to care for the Captains children. She brings music and laughter back into the family home and in doing so captivates the attention of the Captain.
The back drop to the play is set in the stunning Austrian Alps a perfect setting for Rodgers and Hammerstein music, the voices of the Abbey Nuns and the laughter of children.
