Dungeons & Dragons is cool and fun, and so is this show! That's because it's pretty much Dungeons & Dragons without the sitting down and doing maths part.

Join us on a high fantasy adventure entirely made up on the spot AND entirely controlled by the dice. How fun!

Following rave reviews at the 2019 Auckland Improv Marathon, Improverished are bringing back 'Can I Get an Underground Location and a Mythical Creature' for four more shows, with a new extended format.

This is not a show where you watch people play D&D, this is a show where you watch as we act out D&D as the characters. Whether you've played D&D four times a week since you were two, have never played but love listening to D&D podcasts, or have no idea what Dungeons and Dragons is but would like to see someone pretend to be a wizard fighting an angry whale-headed octopus dragon; then this is the show for you!

Inspired by fun and accessible shows like The Adventure Zone and Critical Role, this show will be a good good time.

      2020 AUCKLAND FRINGE

Accessibility notes: All venues are wheelchair accessible. Show does not include any theatre lighting or special effects. Nathan Homestead and Cakes n Ladders are not traditional theatres and have a pretty relaxed atmosphere :) MOTAT is also not a traditional theatre space but it is much larger and sound can be more echoey in the space.
