Late Night Jazz with Trio Nouveau. When the sun has gone down get to the Cabana for some late night Jazz. Enjoy some of the best Hawke’s Bay wines and beers and dance the night away to many classic Jazz Standards. Trio Nouveau is a well known jazz group based in New Zealand and consists of Stephen Millar on piano/ keyboard, Gavin Mather on drums and David Day on double bass. Their interpretations of music from the Great American Songbook period, which includes the Art Deco period of the 1930s, is of the highest quality and smooth to the ear. Fronted by John Redman, an experienced singer who specialises in jazz ballads and Bossa Nova songs, his voice blending seamlessly with the Trio Nouveau musicians. John studied jazz at the Blackheath Conservatoire Of Music in London.
