Unfortunately the Art Deco Trust have now been advised by the train operator Mainline Steams, that it has had to cancel the running of its steam train and period carriages for operational reasons.
Napier - Hastings - Napier
Ride the rails in restored carriages with big windows and an open air viewing platform, drawn by Mainline Steams Locomotive JB1236. Travel to Hastings and back with the clickety-clack of the wheels and the whiff of smoke.
Deco dress is encouraged, so round up the family and make this a trip to remember. The train also features a buffet carriage selling food and drinks.
Departure and arrival times will be endeavoured to be met but sometimes delays could occur.
