Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars postponed to Sunday 23rd February

Due to the forecasted rain set to hit Meremere Dragway this Saturday, Meremere Dragway along with the team at Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars have made the hard decision to postpone the event to the following day, this Sunday the 23rd of February.

Sundays Forecast looks great and the Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny cars want to put on the best show possible! Series manager Morice Mcmillin said the decision was all about the fans. We (Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars and Meremere Dragway) wanted to give the fans as much time as possible to make arrangements to get down to Meremere Dragway this Sunday to see an action-packed show.

All pre purchased tickets will be valid for Sunday’s event.

Amended Schedule for Sunday 23rd February
Aeroflow Pitparty: 11.30am
Nitro Funny Cars on track: 1pm, 3pm and 5pm
Gates open: 7am
Qualifying for all other classes starts at 9am

The Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny cars are set to unleash Australia's biggest Nitro show at Meremere Dragway in 2020. 8 Nitro burning funny cars will cross the Tasman sea to put on side by side 400km/h+ nitro burning entertainment.

Also making the trip will be the super popular Chelsea Leahy in the Nitro Sheriff Wheelstander. Watch her do 400-metre-long wheel-stands at over 160km/h.

The event will also feature the Aeroflow Pit party. Your chance to see the cars up close and meet the drivers and teams. There will be Face Painting, a Kids Fun zone and a massive pile of free giveaways. Its fun for the whole family. Pit party starts at 3pm!
