Festival One is a camping and caravanning festival. Showers and toilet facilities, including facilities for the disabled are provided onsite. No alcohol or drugs are permitted on site. For more information check out our website festival.one

Gates & Times
The Festival One 2020 gates will open at 9:00am on the morning of the 24th of Jan and will end at 12pm on the 27th of Jan. 

Location
We will be back in the Historical Village of Mystery Creek as preparations continue at Hartford Farm (updates on this soon). How good were the vibes there last year? The floating market stage will be back along with a couple of surprises (as always).

Programme:
We will release the programme for 2020 later this year. It’s fair to say that the programme for Festival One 2020 is going to be like nothing you’ve seen before. We can’t wait to share it with you!

Film Competition:
THEME: LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE.

In times of darkness and in times of joy, shine the light that is hope.

For this year’s film comp, we want you to show us what shining your light looks like at Festival. Capture the moments where you see light shining no matter the circumstances. Film your friends and family, role play if you need, or capture people off guard in random acts of kindness that show there is hope.

Record, edit, and upload your 1-minute long film to Instagram over the weekend using the hashtag #F1FilmComp2020 and #Under16 or #Over16 so we know what category you fall under. Remember, your profile must be on public for us to see your videos and there are some awesome prizes up for grabs. Entries close 3pm Sunday 26th January

Photography competition:
THEME: HOPE AND A FUTURE

Jeremiah 29:11 says “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

What does hope look like when you fully give your life into God’s hands? Does your heart flutter knowing the worry is eliminated? Or do you live your life more cautiously, so you don’t have to give over control? However, you feel, when you think about the future, the future remains in his hands and his hands alone. All we can do is hope.

This Festival show how hope leads to your future. Think outside the box and capture those moments! There are some awesome prizes up for grabs. Simply snap a picture over the weekend and upload it to Instagram with the #F1PhotoComp2020 and with #Under16 or #Over16 so we know which category you’re entering. Also remember, your account needs to be on public for us to see your picture. Entries close 3pm Sunday 26th January.

KarTents
An eco-friendly way to tent! KarTent has given festival camping a whole new meaning. Pre-pitched to fit two people (2.4x1.6m), waterproof, and toasty once the sun sets, they’re a pretty ideal camping situation. You’re welcome to take these home with you, or leave on-site for us to recycle. You can also decorate them any which way you want! NZ Deaf Community Special Offer:
We’ve liaised with the NZ Deaf Community to provide a discount code that is available for a limited time. We believe strongly in making the Festival accessible for as many as possible and so most of our venues offer sign language translators.

Group discounts/how do I get a group to Festival One?
Become a Festival One Ambassador by getting your unique code from groups@festival.one and sharing it with your friends. Get 20+ of them to enter your code when they purchase their passes and voila, you have a complimentary Festival One ticket.

Can we reserve a space for our group?
Absolutely! Email our groups team at groups@festival.one before the 6th of December 2019 and they will sort that out for you.
