The World Surf League (WSL) have announced that all March events, including the Piha Pro, have been suspended.
Further updates to be provided shortly...

The Corona Piha Pro marks professional surfing's triumphant return to New Zealand. Piha, on the West Coast of NZ's North Island is a 45-minute drive from Auckland city and is capable of producing world-class waves. Being the second Challenger Series event of the 2020 season, the Corona Piha Pro will play an all-important part in elite Championship Tour qualification.

Only Vehicle Access Passes have Access to Piha
Due to expected traffic congestion and limited parking while the Piha Pro takes place, vehicle access into Piha township will be restricted to Vehicle Pass holders only. As a result, we recommend carpooling as much as possible to ensure maximum value for attendees.
Each car will be scanned through a managed access point located at the turn-off to Karekare Road and Piha Road. Please clearly display your Vehicle Pass on the front windscreen/dashboard of your vehicle.
Your pass includes a designated parking area - please park here on the day and adhere to all signage and directions given by event staff. Once you have parked your car, leave it in the authorised car park for the duration of your visit. Walking around Piha is recommended. Piha residents do not need to apply through iTICKET for a Vehicle Pass. They will receive special Piha Resident Passes.

Shuttle Bus service – PLEASE NOTE
Shuttle bus tickets MUST be pre-booked at iTicket.co.nz. Please book your shuttle bus time carefully as bookings are not flexible and cannot be used on a bus at another time. Return buses are included in each ticket. Return times do not need to be booked in advance and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Return buses will depart hourly from 2pm until 7pm from the drop-off location near the Domain car-park. Please ensure you are there before 7pm if catching the last bus, as there will be no alternative transport services.
Each one-way journey may take up to an hour. Please present your ticket for scanning when boarding the bus at both locations.
To use the Shuttle Bus service, you can either drive and use the Park-and-Ride at Parrs Park, or use public transport to get to Parrs Park – Sunnyvale is the closest train station (a 14-minute walk from Parrs Park).
