This touching and hugely entertaining comedy provides an insight into the lives of three sisters who, with seemingly very little in common, come together for their mother's funeral, each haunted by their own demons. As they recall their childhood they find that personal grievances have coloured their memories, which differ greatly and cause immense friction. Their quarrels over the funeral arrangements, their well-worn family roles, their unsatisfactory relationships and their mixed memories of a highly feminine mother are hilarious.
